I noticed in earlier pictures of the Nueva Chica model that the amount of lighting in the kitchen will be of poor quality.
The light from the single fixture above the cabinet placed above the kitchen sink will cast a bad shadow on your work space on the kitchen counter below.
The two lights above the kitchen island will cast even more shadows if you are standing at the sink countertops.
I’d guess that they used the bland looking clear glass instead of higher quality colored art glass to help with the amount of available light in the kitchen.
This kitchen design definitely needs under cabinet lighting and/or additional ceiling lights around the cupola, especially for serious cooking! It would allow for nice hanging light fixtures above the island.
