The weekend kicks off with another smoldering hot day here in the Bay Area. Even at 9 am this morning when I was outside giving my tomato plants and potted hydrangeas and extra dose of water, I could feel the heat from the morning sun.
This Saturday, I want to share the photo submissions from Chris Sessions, whom many of us know from his frequent posts on Club Loreto Bay. One of the charming features of the town of Loreto are the stone buildings and large wooden doors that add a sense of character and history to the Baja landscape.
Enjoy! I was thinking September 6 would be a good cut off date for photo submissions. That way we have the rest of September to select and compile the calendar. By early October, I’ll have figured out the costs for reproducing and mailing the calendars and we will be able to estimate how much from each calendar will go to benefiting the children of the Internado School in Loreto, BCS.
Today, I will be attending a family birthday party, going to see another championship game Clint is playing in (he plays on two teams) and then the opening night of Theatrework’s ‘Yellow Face’ in Mountain View.
Tomorrow, we’ll be spending all day at C. Donatiello winery in Sonoma and then I’ll fly out to Chicago in the evening to attend and speak at the APHSA ISM conference. Phew!
Have a great weekend all and thanks for all the contributions and enthusiasm for the 2010 Loreto Calendar!
