Not much to report this month, our Sunpower solar panels have been quietly turning sunlight into energy. There is a trend towards lower daily energy production as the days get shorter.
Solar panels were a topic of discussion at the lunch hosted by Lorenzo Petroni, owner of “THE” North Beach restaurant and Petroni Vineyards (more on this winemaker’s lunch in an upcoming post).
More wineries are moving to solar as energy costs are increasing and many of them have extra land or rooftops available for large solar panel arrays. Just on example: Peju Estate Winery has extensive solar panels already and you can view its production from their web site.
