For those of you that may have missed my twitter update, Jan M. wrote in a while back to let us know that the farmacia in Loreto Bay has shut doors on the Paseo. All the inventory moved to inn gift shop.
It’s nice on this Sunday morning to reflect on the changes in the Loreto Bay community. The new beginnings and the endings.
It seems like only yesterday Clint and I were touring the pharmacy, and wrote this entry and posted a funny video tour: In Loreto Bay: New Pharmacy Marks First Retail Store Opening
And for those of us that have been part of the community for a while, remember the Adobe brick manufacturing demonstration. For those that weren’t there, here is video proof!
Loreto Bay Classic Video: Adobe Brick Manufacturing
That only lasted for a while before we all realized Perform wall was what was needed for a 6,000 home community.
At the same time, just last week, we got news that the first two homes in Agua Viva phase of Loreto Bay have been turned over to homeowners and homeowners that were down during the holidays noted an increase in community spirit and activity. Clint and I noticed this as well while in Loreto last November.
What a beginning to a journey of a lifetime. I am a sucker for dreaming big and the human spirit to rise to something greater than each individual. What I like about Loreto is that it is small and somehow I feel that each of us in the community matters, that what we do can change the course of Loreto.
A particular quote comes to mind from a letter I received late last year:
“Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done.” Robert Heinlein
Thanks for indulging in my musings this Sunday.
