My first reaction: slick! The photos really pop on the iPad's bright screen. I also immediately found myself right at home with the navigation, which, like most iPad apps, is brilliantly intuitive.

Lion is not going to change the world. It's very much, to my eyes at least, an incremental upgrade. For $29.99, however, it's an easy recommendation. The new features add even more elegance to an already finely honed OS.

Content is organized by episode. Of course, I skipped directly to "4" (Call me a slow learner, I still can't get used to calling Star Wars "episode 4" or "A New Hope" ... come on now!) . There I was able to watch a neat little video about the landspeeder and learn about the choices Lucas made to ensure the actors were still prominent while driving it.

In Review: Sennheiser HD 518 Headphones
American Idiot by Green Day -- a brilliant modern day rock opera -- sounded magnificent. After listening to the album so many times using in-ear headphones, and also with my trusty Sony MDR-V6 phones, I was surprised at how much more nuance I could pick up in the mix.
